State and international names, famous names, misleading names — and anything confusable with an existing mark.
The prohibitions are set out on the registration application form itself, quoting the law on company names. A name may not contain the official name of a state or of an international or intergovernmental organisation, full or abbreviated; nor the name of a historical or well-known person in Uzbekistan without permission; nor a designation that is false or capable of misleading as to who holds the name; nor anything contrary to the interests of society, the principles of humanity or morality. Some of these become available with the appropriate permission, which then has to be produced.
Separately, the name must not be identical or confusingly similar to a company name already registered or applied for in Uzbekistan, to a registered or applied-for trade mark, to a mark recognised as well known, or to a protected appellation of origin. The System checks identity automatically as the name is chosen, but similarity is a judgement it does not make — and failure to comply with the law on company names is its own ground of refusal.
