What is the signature card an Uzbek bank asks for?

Short answer

The sheet of specimen signatures that authorises payments — signed in person, at the bank.

TwoA business entity gives two cards — other client types give one (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 11 — lex.uz ↗)
In personSignatures are affixed personally — by the client, in the presence of a bank employee (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 30 — lex.uz ↗)
ExceptionExcept where the account is opened remotely (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 30 — lex.uz ↗)
TemporaryA stand-in signatory is added with a period of validity — where an authorised person changes temporarily (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 31 — lex.uz ↗)
What the law provides

The card is the reason someone has to be in the room. It carries the specimen signatures of the people entitled to sign payment documents on the company’s behalf, and the instruction requires those signatures to be made in person in front of a bank employee — which is the single provision that turns account opening into a trip. (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 30 — lex.uz ↗)

A facsimile signature is available only to a person whose physical impairment prevents them signing by hand. It is not a convenience route for a director abroad. (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 30 — lex.uz ↗)
