The bank cannot make you stamp documents — but the signature card carries a seal specimen.
The two provisions sit either side of a line that is easy to miss. What is prohibited is a bank requiring your documents to be stamped or certified by seal. What is required is that the signature-specimen card itself bears the impression of the company’s main seal, which is a different object doing a different job — it is part of how the bank verifies an instruction later.
