Does my Uzbek company need a seal for the bank?

Short answer

The bank cannot make you stamp documents — but the signature card carries a seal specimen.

BannedBanks may not require business entities to seal documents (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 5 — lex.uz ↗)
CardThe signature card must carry the specimen of the main seal — of the legal entity, or of its branch or representative office (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 32 — lex.uz ↗)
Main onlyOnly the main seal — seals “for packages”, “for permits”, “chancellery”, “for information” or “for certificates” may not be used (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 32 — lex.uz ↗)
30 daysIf the seal is lost or replaced — the bank allows a period to have a new one made, not exceeding thirty calendar days (Bank Accounts Instruction, Para. 32 — lex.uz ↗)
What the law provides

The two provisions sit either side of a line that is easy to miss. What is prohibited is a bank requiring your documents to be stamped or certified by seal. What is required is that the signature-specimen card itself bears the impression of the company’s main seal, which is a different object doing a different job — it is part of how the bank verifies an instruction later. (Bank Accounts Instruction, Paras. 5, 32 — lex.uz ↗)
