Do I need to travel to Uzbekistan to register a company?

Short answer

No. Registration is filed under a power of attorney — presence is not required.

Power of attorney — signed before a notary in your own country; it authorises the entire filing
The bank’s identity check of the director — the only in-person step in the process
A director on the ground attends that check — so the shareholder is never required to appear
What the law provides

Uzbek law permits registration through a representative. The application, the personal identification numbers (PINFL) and the digital signature are all obtained under a notarised power of attorney; the shareholder signs that one document in their own country and appears nowhere else. The single in-person requirement in practice is the bank’s identification of the director at account opening.
